MP4 to GIF
MP4 to GIF Converter Online
Load an MP4, trim the moment you want, and export a GIF. No upload, no account required for the basic flow. If you want to shape the look, there are 15 presets and a set of frame-by-frame effects that export exactly as they look in the preview.
Steps
01
Load your MP4
Drag the file into the editor or use the file picker. Up to 100 MB. WebM and MOV also work.
02
Trim the clip
Set the start and end point on the timeline. You can add multiple segments and export them all at once.
03
Set size and frame rate
480 px at 12 fps is a good starting point. Adjust based on where you will share the GIF.
04
Apply a look (optional)
Choose from 15 presets, manual color adjustments, or effects. Everything shows in the preview before you export.
05
Export and download
Click Generate. Progress shows as frames are rendered. Download the GIF directly or get a ZIP with all segments.
Color presets
15 presets apply a visual style to every frame. A few examples: "Warm Cinema" and "Teal Orange" for a cinematic tone. "Cyan Blood" and "Manga Pop" for high contrast. "Matte Fade" and "Washed Scan" for a faded, analog feel. The look you see in the preview is the look you get in the exported GIF.
Animated effects
Four effects change on each frame, so they stay active in the final GIF. Light Leak adds drifting light across frames. VHS gives a worn tape look with subtle noise and lines. Film Dust adds particles and scratches that move. Chromatic Aberration creates a slight color separation at the edges. You can use these with a preset or on a clean export.
Manual adjustments
Eight controls let you shape the image directly: Exposure, Shadows, Highlights, Saturation, S-Curve, Grain, Sharpness, and Vignette. Use them on their own or combine with a preset.
Multiple GIFs from one video
Add up to 9 segments on the timeline. Each becomes a separate GIF. Export all at once and download a ZIP.
